Installation (various methods, choose one) Insert CD or unzip the file into the computer:   Method 1 Send the file 'PhoneBAK.CAB' to your pda phone via Bluetooth or Method 2 Copy the file to your pda phone and install directly to the phone memory or Method 3 Copy the file from the computer to the pda phone during synchronization via ActiveSync. Registration Go to http://www.bak2u.com/activate.php to register the software. Important! Under 'Operating System' select ‘PDA' The IMEI number can be displayed on most phones by dialing the code *#06# The unlock key can be re-used when the phone firmware is upgraded or when the software is reinstalled into the same phone. Installation Access the PhoneBAK PDA phone program at: Start / File Explorer / My Device / Program Files / PhoneBAK PDA / PhoneBAK.exe (click once) Password Enter the default number 12345 to begin the configurations. Please remember to change the default password 12345 to your own password. Enter no more than 8 digits password. Activate Enter the given ‘Unlock Key�?as displayed on website. Register SIM Authorized different SIM cards to the program when switching between the different cards (E.g. when overseas traveling). Select the tab 'SIMs' to add your SIM card. To add more cards, ensure that all other settings are done (SMSs, Alert, Reset) before ‘Exit�? from program and restart your PDA phone with the new SIM card. SMS Predefine the mobile phone numbers of buddies to receive the alert SMS Text message. Example:  +6591234567 Country code, area code, phone number. Test it out by sending an actual alert message to ensure that all settings are correct before exiting. Alert Customize your own SMS Text message that will be sent to any predefined mobile phone numbers of buddies, spouses, colleagues etc. Example - Alert! Lily Tan’s HTC HD has been stolen! Call the authority! Send the number of times the alert message(s) is send out within the number of minutes. Optional features (Critical Settings) Hard Reset (Windows Mobile 2003, 2003SE) Select the tab 'Hard Reset' to perform a hard reset on your PDA phone. (Windows Mobile 5 & 6) Will result in continuous looping resets of the PDA Phone, preventing the unauthorized users from accessing any data. Important! Selecting this feature will remove all files setting it back to factory default. Erase Storage Card Select the tab 'Erase Storage Card' to perform a wipeout on your external storage card. Important! Selecting this feature will remove all files in the storage card. Ensure that all settings are saved and exit the program. Restart the PDA phone. Contact Us
